The Civil Society Development Association (ARGO), as part of the Partnership for Innovations (P4I) program, will hold the VIII annual INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE, “INSIGHTS INTO DEVELOPMENT” on the 28th and 29th of June, 2017 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The conference will be held in partnership with KIMEP University.
For the first time in the region, the conference will be dedicated to INNOVATIONS IN THE SOCIAL SPHERE. This year more than 150 representatives of CSOs, initiative groups, government authorities, businesses working with civil society organizations, mass media, universities and donors will take part in the event.
The first day of the conference includes plenary sessions, panel discussions and side-events covering a wide range of social innovation topics.
The second day is devoted to master classes on innovations, social partnership, project and program evaluations, and social technologies for working with beneficiaries.
A ceremony of awarding the winners of the CSO New Vision Award will be held in the frame of the conference.

Civil society leaders, experts and conference participants are encouraged to submit their stories and articles for publication in the e-book, “Insights into Development.” The book will highlight experiences, perceptions, and insights on social innovations, partnerships, and regional cooperation. Guidelines for writing and submitting an article for the book can be found here: Book Submission Guide 2017 ENG
You may also host your own side-event to be held as part of the conference. To organize a side-event, click here and complete the appropriate section of the conference application.

Please note:
The registration fee shall be paid separately under the following dated guidelines:
Early registration (before May 15, 2017):
* for CSO representatives – $35
* for representatives of commercial and international organizations – $80
Late registration (after May 15, 2017):
* for CSO representatives – $45
* for representatives of commercial and international organizations – $100
Registration fee includes conference participation, handouts and refreshment.
The conference organizers will cover accommodation and transportation expenses of key participants (experts, CSO New Vision Award winners and side-event organizers). Please note that the number of paid places is limited.
